Rent a Tesla in Basel
A business meeting in Basel, visiting friends or a road trip across the border into Germany or France: with EV-Adventure you drive electric and skip the rental desk. We are a Swiss Tesla rental company based in Uerzlikon in the canton of Zurich. We don't have an office in Basel, and you don't need one: we deliver your Tesla free of charge to your address in Basel and collect it there again.
Free delivery and pick-up in Basel
Basel-Stadt and Basel-Landschaft are in German-speaking Switzerland, so delivery and pick-up are free, whether your Tesla should be waiting outside your hotel in Grossbasel, your flat in Kleinbasel or your office in Liestal. We agree the exact handover point with you. The car is ready with at least 85% battery. Any parking fees at the delivery or pick-up point are paid by you.
Before your rental starts you get a link that gives you access through the Tesla app. You see where your car is, unlock it with your phone and drive off. At the end of the rental you park it at the agreed spot.
From Basel across the border
Basel sits right on the border with Germany and France, and trips abroad are allowed with our Teslas, within Europe as set out in our terms. Handover and return always take place in Switzerland. Worth knowing when you plan: within Switzerland your kilometres are unlimited. If your rental includes driving abroad, a limit of 200 km per day applies to the whole rental. Extra kilometres cost CHF 0.50.

Charging on the road: Superchargers included
You can charge at every Tesla Supercharger. We pass on the charging costs 1:1 after the rental, with no mark-up. You don't have to look for chargers yourself: enter your destination in the navigation and the Tesla plans the right stops. No need to charge to full before returning the car, 20% battery is enough.

How much is the deposit?
The deposit is CHF 1,000, or CHF 3,000 for drivers under 25. It covers any Supercharging fees, damage or fines and is refunded no later than 30 days after the rental ends. The minimum age is 21.
