Rent a Tesla in St. Gallen and Eastern Switzerland
The Abbey District, the Säntis and Lake Constance: there is a lot to discover around St. Gallen, and with a Tesla from EV-Adventure you do it all electric. We are a Swiss Tesla rental company based in Uerzlikon in the canton of Zurich, and we don't have a branch in St. Gallen. Instead, your Tesla comes to you: we deliver it free of charge to your address in Eastern Switzerland and collect it there again.
Delivery to St. Gallen, Appenzell and Lake Constance
St. Gallen, both Appenzell cantons and Thurgau are in German-speaking Switzerland. We deliver there free of charge, whether to the city of St. Gallen, to Rorschach on Lake Constance or to your holiday flat in the Appenzell countryside. We agree the handover point with you. Your Tesla is ready with at least 85% battery, and in the Tesla app you unlock and start it with your phone. Any parking fees at the handover point are paid by you.
Trips from St. Gallen: Säntis, Appenzell and Lake Constance
From St. Gallen you are quickly at the Schwägalp at the foot of the Säntis, in the rolling hills of Appenzell or on the Swiss shore of Lake Constance. Austria and Germany are close as well. Trips abroad are allowed, within Europe as set out in our terms. Handover and return take place in Switzerland. Within Switzerland your kilometres are unlimited. If your rental includes driving abroad, a limit of 200 km per day applies to the whole rental, and extra kilometres cost CHF 0.50.

Included: insurance, kilometres and Supercharging
Every Tesla has comprehensive insurance. The excess is CHF 1,000 per claim, or CHF 3,000 for drivers under 25. You can reduce your excess as an add-on at checkout. You can charge at all Tesla Superchargers, and we pass on the costs 1:1 after the rental. 20% battery is enough when you return the car. Frequently asked questions about renting a Tesla in St. Gallen
Do you deliver to Appenzell and Thurgau?
Yes. We deliver free of charge to any address in German-speaking Switzerland (except Upper Valais), including Appenzell, Thurgau and Lake Constance, and collect the Tesla there again.
Can I drive the rental car to Austria or Germany?
Yes. Handover and return take place in Switzerland. If your rental includes driving abroad, a limit of 200 km per day applies to the whole rental, and extra kilometres cost CHF 0.50.
Do I have to return the Tesla fully charged?
No. 20% battery is enough. On the road you charge at any Tesla Supercharger, and we pass on the charging costs 1:1 after the rental.
How much is the deposit?
The deposit is CHF 1,000, or CHF 3,000 for drivers under 25. It covers any Supercharging fees, damage or fines and is refunded no later than 30 days after the rental ends. The minimum age is 21.
