Instead of a branch in Winterthur we offer delivery: your Tesla comes to your home, office or hotel free of charge, and that is where we collect it at the end.

Free delivery in Winterthur and the Zurich wine country
Like the whole canton of Zurich, Winterthur is in German-speaking Switzerland, so delivery and pick-up are free, whether your Tesla should be waiting in the old town, in Töss, in Seen or out in the Weinland. We agree the exact handover point with you. The car is ready there with at least 85% battery. Any parking fees at the delivery or pick-up point are paid by you.
Arriving by plane? We can also hand over your Tesla directly at Zurich Airport. We agree the meeting point in the car park and the time with you when you book. Before your rental starts you get a link for the Tesla app, which lets you unlock and start the car.
Trips from Winterthur: Rhine Falls, Lake Constance and wine country
From Winterthur you are quickly at the Rhine Falls near Schaffhausen, in Stein am Rhein or at Lake Constance. The German border is close too, and trips abroad are allowed with our Teslas, within Europe as set out in our terms. Within Switzerland your kilometres are unlimited. If your rental includes driving abroad, a limit of 200 km per day applies to the whole rental, and extra kilometres cost CHF 0.50. Handover and return always take place in Switzerland.

Insurance, charging and return: all included
- Comprehensive insurance: CHF 1,000 excess per claim, or CHF 3,000 for drivers under 25. You can reduce the excess at checkout.
- Kilometres: unlimited within Switzerland.
- Superchargers: you charge at any Tesla Supercharger, and we pass on the costs 1:1 after the rental with no mark-up. The navigation suggests the charging stops.
- Return: 20% battery is enough, no need to charge to full.
- Delivery and pick-up in Winterthur and all of German-speaking Switzerland (except Upper Valais).

Can I take the rental car across to the German side of Lake Constance?
Yes, trips abroad are allowed. Pick-up and return are always in Switzerland. As soon as your rental includes a trip abroad, 200 km per day are included for the whole rental period, and each additional kilometre costs CHF 0.50.
How much is the deposit?
The deposit is CHF 1,000, or CHF 3,000 for drivers under 25. It covers any Supercharging fees, damage or fines and is refunded no later than 30 days after the rental ends. The minimum age is 21.
